Those who know me know how much I’m addicted to chocolate, I am craving for it almost all day every day! I mean who can resist a shiny chocolate bar -just thinking of it makes my mouth water-, plus, the unlimited ways in which we can consume it make it even easier for us to fall for it: brownies, truffles, creams, cakes… However, this irreplaceable goodness should be moderately consumed due to its high content of fat.

Dark chocolate -the type made of 70- 90% cocoa with reduced sugar and milk content- is the best type of chocolate to consume. In fact, the consumption of dark chocolate in a moderate way helps purifying blood. Moreover, and in an esthetic level, it makes the skin glow and help reduce wrinkles thanks to its anti-oxidant properties (flavonoids and polyphenols). And by consuming dark chocolate I mean eating and applying it as a facial/corporal mask.
